When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors camping, fishing, or hunting. I’ve been a volunteer fireman since 1985, starting with the Wharton Fire Department, where I rose through the ranks to Lieutenant and Captain before becoming an exempt member.
After moving to the Branchville area, I joined the Branchville Fire Department because the camaraderie and brotherhood of the fire service are hard to replace. I’ve also coached Little League and served on the board—staying involved and giving back to the community has always been important to me.

I have had inspections done in previous properties by others and wanted an inspection done on my current home. Rick came to inspect my property with all the gadgets I did not know existed. Inspection was detailed and he explained everything he saw. His knowledge in buildings/architecture benefits your inspection tremendously. Not many inspectors have the knowledge into the true foundation of a home/building. Rick suggested some upgrades and ways to improve areas of the home. Top to bottom and from inside to outside took about 3 hours. The reports are detailed with photos and recommendations. Even if you want an inspection on your home and you're not selling it isn't a bad idea. I do recommend Rick with his knowledge and attention to details. Things that are a must when it comes to your home.

Rick was very professional and thorough in his inspection of our potential home. Rick made himself available for questions as we were walking through and informed us of the items we needed to consider not just for for fixing but for upkeep and general maintenance and was very honest and attentive to our concerns. Performed a drone sweep of our roof and chimney exterior, thermal imaging, pest checks, electric checks, mold/mildew (informal though he does have packages for formal mold testing nd checks including air quality), and alleviated our structural concerns with his expertise and willingness to not just look but explain to us what he was checking for, why, and what it means at each stage.
He went above and beyond our expectations and continues to help with suggestions and recommendations when he has them for things we need or may need down the line. 10/10 would recommend his services.
